Because I really needed to get addicted to another tv show
Why did I make the mistake of renting Season 1 of Heroes from Netflix? Actually I rented the first 5 discs from Netflix, then got impatient and bought the last 5 episodes from iTunes. It took me about 12 days to get through 18 hours of this show and starting Monday it will be back on the air. The show is consistently fantastic, though the season finale felt a bit anticlimactic - now I know why the buzz was that Heroes should have taken a page from Lost's book on that front. I think I'm now trying to follow something ridiculous like 10 shows this fall, which will be fine until I start working full force again starting mid October, and then I start falling way behind. I guess I should enjoy it why it lasts!

I do not want to hear this! I have season 1 sitting at my house borrowed from a friend in case I am bored while Norm is gone, and I think I need to get addicted to another show even less than you. I need to get Tivo or a new computer that allows me to record shows because I got out of the habit of letting TV rule my life over the summer and don't really want to get back in.
